I found this recipe on Pintrest, I admit. But I didn’t follow the recipe. I followed the ingredients because they were things that I use everyday, just in a different combination that I haven’t had before. I will tell you exactly how I used everything, but I do encourage you to take a look at these ingredients and make it your own. I like mine with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, but I know some people might like theirs more sweet or more tangy.

Don’t worry I documented the process through pics, but before we begin with my amazing food photography, here is a list of what you will need to make a dish for one (if you need more servings just double, triple or quadruple the recipe).

  • 1/2 chicken breast
  • 1 serving of spaghetti
  • olive oil
  • butter (just a pat or two)
  • honey
  • 1 lemon
  • lemon pepper seasoning (you can use just pepper)
  • apple cider vinegar
  • garlic powder
  • Parmesan
  • and some veggies of your choice as a side if you wish ๐Ÿ™‚

First I diced my chicken breast and prepped it for the pan

Then I turned on the stove and added about a tablespoon of olive oil, 2 pats of butter, about a tablespoon of honey, and about 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. I let that heat up and then I added the chicken.

The specks you see about are my lemon pepper seasoning that I picked up from The Fresh Market. It’s a brand called Jane’s and I love it!!

Also here are pictures of the honey, and apple cider vinegar that I used

I just used a fork to mix my chicken mixture around. I started at a high heat and then gradually reduced to a medium to low simmer when I saw my chicken was getting a perfect white color. I added just your typical garlic powder (shout out McCormick).

While this was all cooking, so was my pasta. Just boil some water and throw in that pasta yo!

When all is said and done, grab a plate, put some of that delish pasta on it. Then literally dump everything in your chicken pan on top. Make sure you get all of your sauce all over your pasta. You can make it just a chicken and pasta night, or you can add some veggies. I got lazy and steamed my broccoli in the microwave and then added some salt and parmesan cheese atop my whole dish and BAM! You got yourself a lick- the -plate, balanced healthy meal!
